My .223/compensated barrel's ejector started locking up the the barrel when I tried to break it open. It's a problem that sometimes happen with the ejectors on older pistols. The ejector is suppose to move freely like butter, but it became corroded and the flat spring broke. It won't work without the flat spring. Here are a few pics in case you have to deal with this problem. I ordered the new ejector from T/C Inc. 866-730-1614. They sent me the part free of charge. T/C, Encore have great warranties.
If you replace the ejector with the flat spring and a little grease it should work fine. I don't know why this one corroded but it did. FYI, I have read that you don't want to take the trigger assembly apart because it is very complicated to put back together on these pistols.

Gary,
Nice looking forearm on that TC. It has been quite a while since I had dealings with T/C, but I had a hammer spring break, so I called them up and in just 3 or 4 days I received two new springs in the mail free of charge. This was long before the S&W group bought them, but it sounds like they are still standing behind their product which is great. Wish every company did that.
