I happened to be surfing around the USFA site today & stumbled on this. I don't know about you guys, but there's just something sick-n-wrong with this picture.

I guess maybe they're trying to appeal to a younger crowd, who would normally only be interested in colored plastic autos??
Funky, man.

The coatings are right at home on a modern looking firearm but the trusty ole single action just doesnt look right unless it's blued or case hardened. Just my two cents worth anyway. Not that I would turn one down if the price was right or something like that.

I found interesting they mention on their site a new to come .41 short mag. What is that? I think the colors must have appeal to someone I suppose. I agree with lbruce on the way a single action should look, but I still drool over the United Sporting arms Sevilles and FA model 83's.

A man cannot have too many SuperMags
Those are some funky colors! To me just doesn't have a place on a Single Action. With that being said I do like the brushed Blue finish on my 445 SuperMag I just got back from DW and those pictures above sort of look like that... I'm assuming the finish above though is some sort of coating.

High Standard offered colored guns over 50 years ago. The following link is to a brochure from 1958.
