Not familiar with any revolvers with right-side opening cylinders, except an old French made revolver (which this drawing isn't). Just curious what this is and why Pachmayr chose this for their box cover.

It's just a modified S&W. The same can be done with a Dan Wesson also.

That's pretty sweet Harly. There is another possibility though. In printing a negative, or up to four negatives for color photos, are used to "burn" a printing plate. If the negative was flipped over during the plate making process it will be the exact copy in reverse. If you hold up a sign to a mirror you see the reverse. It is the same principle. Mistakes of that nature can sometimes be not realized for VERY long times. The news show for I believe ABC years ago started the show showing the Earth spinning. It was on for years before someone realized the sun was rising in the West. Middlecalf, you may be the first person to realize the picture on the box is backwards.

Ole Dog, I think Harly's messing with you/ us... photoshop is a sunnova- a modern day reverse image is pretty easy to do now days.

These are the rare southern hemisphere variants. Due to the Coriolis effect, in the southern hemisphere, opening the cylinder to the left is troublesome.
