decoyme,
Welcome to the SuperMag cult. This cartridge is about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on. Yep, that sucker can get heavy, but I like it. The older I get, the more I'm willing to trade holding the weight for feeling the recoil. I sit on the portable bench I made a lot because I can shoot 8 hours a day for a week sometimes.
But be careful with your ammo. I strongly recommend you get into reloading for fun and safety. Even factory 357SM has been known to explode and not burn. When it does, that 50,000 psi can do a lot of damage.
Reloading has become an entirely new hobby for me. I always enjoy the education that has to take place with anything new and the ballistic chemistry is a challenge. You can get the accuracy and recoil right in the sweet spot for your personal preferences. Find a buddy that has the gear and get going quick and cheap.

Prescut, Thanks for the advice, will do. Have a buddy that is a world class shooter with all everything I need including smarts. Setting up real shooting range behind house now. Trying to find best line of fire where not any oak trees have to be taken out. Thinking of putting feeders at the 50 and 100 yard marks, just for fun.
