I was not shooting a paper target but rather a metal target with a rotating metal piece on top. I am definitely a novice shooter but I felt like a dead eye yesterday! I had the 6 inch barrel on it and was shooting some 158 grain .357 ammo that I got from Walmart. I love the accuracy with the 6 inch barrel, though I was also impressed with how accurate it was with the 2.5 inch barrel. I didn't shoot with the short barrel yesterday. Also shot my Canik TP9SA and my friend's concealed carry S&W Shield.
This is not my first time shooting the 15-2 but I thought I'd post because I had so much fun with it yesterday.
This is the style of metal target I was shooting at yesterday.

Cool .. what is the size of that target and at what distance ?
The picture isn't my actual target so I don't know exactly how big it is. The floating piece on top is what I was aiming at and was getting it to spin back and forth. I'd say it's roughly 4"x4". I didn't mark off the distance because we were at at home range but I'd say I was shooting at 20-30 feet and then I stepped back to about 50-60 feet to try my luck. I know it's nothing impressive but I was pretty happy with myself and the revolver. I really got a feel for exactly how I need to aim with this gun. I was in no rush so I was cocking the hammer back with every shot so it had the nice short SA trigger pull. Next time I suppose I ought to measure the distance.

Sounds like you had a fun day.....haven't shot mine yet. Placed an order on SportsmansGuide.com and waiting for my array of different bullets to fire.....well three different types...lol. You said you have a Canik TP9SA.....now thats a fine 9mm. I have two, the black one and also the desert tan. Also I have the TP9SF and the TP9SFX. Are they a fine weapon or what? The sweetest trigger system of all Striker Fires.....ALL...period....and I have a few to compare to.

Of all my 4 years of shooting I still haven't been to an outdoor range! Looks like you had a great time. That Dead-eye feeling is the best isn't it?
With a few rare exceptions, I only shoot outdoors. Of course, living in TX helps.
