Took my wife and daughter to the range today for a little practice. They did most of the shooting and I mainly coached and loaded mags. My wife shot her S&W Bodyguard for the first time and both girls had fun shooting the SR 22. I did manage to run off a few 375 SM's as well as some 357 mag from my HS Sentinel MKIII. All in all, they did well for semi novice shooters. Off hand, outdoors, 10yds.

I wanted my daughter to shoot the 722 VH4 but the place got busy after noon and we had people starting to line up behind us. I figured we'd shoot that one at a later time. During the week is less crowded.

Sounds like a fun day! My daughter has started asking about shooting so I think the time is coming near! The other night I pulled out my Winchester model 1906 but it seemed a little heavy for her so maybe the Winchester 67 would be a better choice.
Scorpio thanks for sharing!

I don't have any kids but the wife just loves to help me reload ( got a whole building for it ) and if ya make them of course ya have to shoot them Un like all of you we don't have to go to the range I have one right here at the home place ...hell it's even covered so we can shoot when it rains ( and it rains a lot here in Western Washington )
