Finally after months of ownership got two separate batched of .445 ammo from master loaders in both Idaho and Montana.....(can I say the bus) Took many guns but this was the "one" I have been waiting to shoot.
Went out to Abilene Gun Club with my daughter and her husband. They had hanging silhouettes at 50, 100, & 200 yards.
Started with the .44 Specials and 25 yard paper target......easy-peasy. .44 mags @ 50 yards 1 of 6 for me, but 50% for my daughter. With my son-in-law as the spotter, using both .445 ammo loads. I was 0-12 @ 100yrds and daughter was 3-12.
By the time we went 200 yards....(no Rams), the wrist hurt, and I was all over the place. Daughter was 1/6 besting me throughout the day with the exception on my 9mm vs. her .45.
Wrapping things up I complimented her on besting me. She replied: "You do remember I earned "Expert Marksman" twice in the Air Force?"
NOPE. Slipped my mind.
I may never be as good as my military children, but made for a great Birthday Shoot!
