Looks like you had a good time with those BD rounds.  It's always nice to see the wife taking an interest too.  Sounds like she handled it well.

I've only shot 445 indoors once and I don't know if the range was super happy about that.  I know it was a much more visceral experience than what I'm used to outdoors with the same gun and loads.  I'll bet you two were the talk of the range after that outing 🙂

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

When I saw this, I thought of George Thorogood's "BeBop Grandma"

"And as long as she can rock
She will never get old"

Steve

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I'm gonna take mine to the indoor range sometime. Don't know what they'll say but I'll try.

I got tossed out of an Akron gunshop, the day I bought, loaded, and showed back up to fire... after 12 rounds... they had never seeen, or heard of anything like that before.. after about a week, they said come back... I said f/u, but understood why when they showed me the dents in the defelctors...   bwaaaaahaaaahaahhaaa.. I've had 3 ranges freak out in the last 30 years, for similar reasons, but I always ask, "is this ok with ya", they all.say yess... and get my fee.. then run in and go whoooah... dude...

all good.. I did get to see what my HOT New formed brass and FMJSIL bullets did to a backstop.deflector... impressive grooooooooovy groooves, but still safe, same day I got hit TWICE, by .45 slugs bouncing back, from some douch with a Mac, 3 lanes away, both hits were on my feet, but slugs were hot enoughto burn my f ingers when picking them up....

no clue as to what, or how he made them bounce back, I'm thinking they hit both side walls.. never nsaw him again.

stopped shooting indoors, it sucked.. and even outdoors with inner earplugs, and US military muffs, had to learn to not flinch.

mmmmmmmm  I like them french fries and musturd...... mmm

hey, just kidding.
