So, Took my 10mm CBob to the range the other day. I had problems with it going back into battery. I just thought that maybe I had let it get too dry. As I was cleaning it I noticed that the recoil spring was kinked. Now I am wondering if that was/is the problem. So I have been looking for a replacement spring and having a terrible time finding anything under a search for Dan Wesson CBOB 10mm Recoil Spring.
My questions are:
1) Can I just buy a Commander size recoil spring to replace it?
2) If so, what weight spring do I need?
3) Would a full length guide rod prevent this from happening again?
Thanks in advance for all help!

Yes a regular commander length spring will work. With factory or equivalent loads a 22lb spring is what DW uses. If you reload hot, a square bottom firing pin stop, and heavier main spring are a good upgrade first then go heavier on the recoil spring if needed.Wolff regular springs are my go to, don't get the variable rate springs. A full length guide rod might help but it could have been a weak spot in the spring itself that lead to the kink. I have thousands of rounds down my 10mm commanders and never had that happen.

UPDATE ON MY CBOB…
I bought a Wolff 22lb Commander recoil spring. It came with a firing pin spring too so I also replaced it. Haven’t taken it to the range yet (as I only got it put in yesterday) but the slide is now functioning flawlessly. The true test will come when I get to the range.
Thanks everyone, especially 605Dart, for all your help.
