Just want to thank Lonwolf93 and his wife for once again hosting a very enjoyable shooting get together. The weather was great!  It was also good to see Jaggman and Supermagfan again and get to share stories and behold all the beautiful Dan's, as well as to shoot all that iron.   Just when I think I've seen everything Dan Wesson, I find out that NO I haven't!  Got to shoot some great Dan's today even it my marksmanship left a lot to be desired, it was still a 'blast'.range-time

Thanks again Brian!

Guys, I really appreciate the invite, and I was getting ready for a roadtrip ( was actually putting together a range bag), but something very critical jumped in on pretty short notice.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Steve, we were sorry you and Jody couldn't make it but we all know how life can come at you fast and get in the way of fun activities.  We will surely do this again and hope you guys can make it next time.

We didn't take too many pics this year, we were busy shooting all the fun machines and trying to get through them all before the weather left us and we all had to head back home.  There are a few pics that I'll put up a bit latter.  There were a few rare  Dan's there and they were fun to shoot.  big-grin

Many thanks again to Brian and his wife for the hospitality shown to all of us.  The food was terrific as always! We had a great time shooting Dans and a lot of breeze!  Pictures were slimmer this year, the day just got away so quickly, maybe we need to establish a two day event.  It is great just to slow down a few notches if for only one great Sunday afternoon. Thanks to all you guys for making up for my shortage of guns and ammo this year. It is bad enough to be short on ammo, then let alone to bring ammo for a gun and let the gun at home!  Can't wait for next opportunity!

I am fortunate and grateful to be able to spend a day with such topnotch guys! And these 3 are Dan Wesson infected to the highest degree. SMF you are right the day goes by too fast, perhaps we will have to try for a weekend get together in the future.

My wife took a few pics, wish I had more to show but at least we can show that we were there and a few Dans were present.

Unfortunately the only pics with all 4 of us is from the back-

Since we did not get many pics this year, here are a couple blasts from the past.

First pic is 2014, Scorpio, me, SMF and the guy who brought us all here, Jody-

Second one from 2013, me, Scorpio, SMF, and Jaggman-

Yes indeed thanks to Brian and his wife for a great DW get-together. It's always good to see the PA guys in the woods punching a few holes in the paper, albeit not where we intended them to be. Lots of nice DW's were present. Hope to keep up the tradition.dwf

As for the guns, well, we all got to shoot my "Movie gun" 44 mag from the movie Red Heat.  Also, we had two 7460's 2 7414's, one an SRS-1, a PMDP Dave Pruitt 1911, a 'Lil Dan, a 22 super ram single action only,  a model 8, numerous 445's in various configurations, several 15-2's and 715's, a 41 mag, a 32-20, several 32 H&R mags, a PM-10, a PM-10 Duce, a PM-9, a CCO, a PM 38super, a Guardian 38super, oh, and a Mitchell Arms Titan II !  There were others I believe but I think I hit the high points.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.
