I have to admit, it's awesome... with the .44 Specials it feels like my .357 Magnum (Model 686 s&w).
I was MORE than pleased with the accuracy at both 10 and 15 yard.
It's a cannon... love it.

That top pic was with the .44 Mags... the .44 specials felt more like the .357 mags.

Heck yes, it's a cannon! I love shooting my big boomers, they put an instant grin on my face...that doesn't go away for hours.

I am picking up my 445 this Friday, I love my 44VH pistol PAC. One of the most comfortable guns to shoot with full power loads.
if you are ever in Sacramento and want to shoot a S&W 500 I have loads from 385 gr up to 700 gr.
Just send me a PM and we will go shooting, I will bring a few big boomers. 45-70 in encore pistol too.

Thanks for the offer to do a little shooting... the S&W 500 is actually the next gun on my list. I am going to be on the lookout for a 'good deal' on an 8 3/4".
Then I guess on the look for ammo for that beast-slayer.

Great photo and nice gun. I think, at my age, a full on 44 magnum is as much as I care to shoot. I'm not afraid of the report or recoil of handguns or guns in general. I worked hard to get rid of my flinch many years ago after I finally decided that no one I've ever heard of ever broke an arm, hand or finger, so shooting normally won't hurt a thing.
