Got out side today, 1st time at a nice outdoor range about 20 min.away. tried out my reloads in about all cals. VERY impressive 357 mags w/15.5g H110 & 158g XTP. And Henry 44 made my shoulder sore w/H110 !!! More than Mike's 30-06. But all was good in reloads 445s were a boomin' All shot at 140yds. 1st shot w/15-2 8" I hit gong and not so much after Did good w/Henry also. Gong !!
Here's a pic of the range from target & bench and a vid of Mike's 30-06 and my 7445 VH6

I just took my two new Model 40 to the range and shoot them I would say it was fun but kept having trouble getting cylinder to index with my Reeds Ammo. Anyone ever had that issue? I only got to fire about 18 rounds through them and quit. I brought my Wesson 357 along and ran about 75 rounds through that.

Are you saying it's all good w/no ammo, and loaded it binds ??? If so, make sure ammo goes in cyl all the way and make sure primers aren't sticking out. Maybe cyl needs a good scrubbing. My 40 worked fine w/Jamison new and reloaded Jamison brass from Midway. Some brass was new J. also. 180g Cannon balls !!

I got to shoot a few as I mentioned, when gun was received by me that is the first thing I did clean everything. When I go next time will make sure ammo seats properly as a check. It did the same thing in both Model 40's so it was most likely me. At least I shot them people looked over to see what it was. Then had fun with my pistol pack just put on a no drill B Square scope mount and a Simmons scope. Also brought my Mini 14 GB folder and shot a hundred or so rounds, it is a fun gun to shoot.
