This 445 SuperMag Alaska Guide Series is Serial Number 00001
Purchased NIB and unfired by my son this past summer. The shop that sold it to him said that they had sold this revolver to the original purchaser, who never fired it, and eventually sold it back to them. It did not remain unfired for long, and is posed leaning against it's first "trophy".
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I like this thread already . I'll be checking back often to see what shows up. Nice AGS for sure. Like many of the collectors around, I did not have any appreciation for the AGS's when you could still buy them new and left them get away and now I still do not have one.
A man cannot have too many SuperMags
just thought I'd throw this in to keep the threat going. SN. 44500014[Image Can Not Be Found]
unlike the AGS the shrouds on the early models have the dan wesson signature on left front of shroud where the AGS would be. but the plastic case was hand written with marker AGS.
thouse of you that have them lets show them off!
