This 445 SuperMag Alaska Guide Series is Serial Number 00001

Purchased NIB and unfired by my son this past summer. The shop that sold it to him said that they had sold this revolver to the original purchaser, who never fired it, and eventually sold it back to them. It did not remain unfired for long, and is posed leaning against it's first "trophy".

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I like this thread already big-grin.  I'll be checking back often to see what shows up.  Nice AGS for sure.  Like many of the collectors around, I did not have any appreciation for the AGS's when you could still buy them new and left them get away and now I still do not have one. yell

unlike the AGS the shrouds on the early models have the dan wesson signature on left front of shroud where the AGS would be. but the plastic case was hand written with marker AGS.

Just rummaging through my pic stash today. These guns seem to be most common with a 4" BA, but I thought I'd show this one with a 6" barrel. This was an auction gun, not mine.
