Trying to date 2 slotted shrouds that do not say "SuperMag or a caliber on the Left Side.....(unmarked)
Do not have a caliber designation on the Right Side underlug.
But, they do have "Monson Mass U.S.A" on the shrouds Right Side underlug. It's the "U.S.A" that make these unusual.
So, technically they are Large Frame universal shrouds.
Anyone have any like them? (one of two is pictured 2nd from Right)
And yes, these were DMs. Trying to find them pictured in his body of journalism have been evasive

The 2 marked 445 are Palmer shrouds.
I've got some blue Vent 44 mag shrouds with no markings at all on them. Not sure why. Maybe they just slipped by?

Thanks, I know the Palmers.
Asking about the "Monson Mass U.S.A" on the shrouds Right Side underlug.
It's the "U.S.A" that make these unusual. My model 11 has USA on the frame. But, I don't think any of my shrouds have ever had "USA" after Monson Mass.
Asking if this unusual stamping might be a known first, or at least date them.
