There is a Dan Wesson Coyote .22 lr rifle that crops up from time to time, and a one off custom rifle/carbine built on a 15-2 sometimes shows up as well.
Guys, if you're going to talk about a gun For Sale someplace, POST A LINK
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That's the one I was thinking of, the seller has possibly set a record for the most pictures to sell one gun. There's a lot of good work there, it looks well thought out and executed, and it's been shot a fair amount. I'm hoping that the pictures are showing a lot of weird reflections and that the finish is not as bad as it looks.

Since that is a custom job, it's going to be hard to determine a value. Personally, I wouldn't pay the $1200 asking price, but I would entertain a price in the $700-800 range.
Judging by the nicks on the side cover, whoever has been shooting that sure has a problem letting go of the ejector rod before he closes the cylinder. Since this is technically the area for photos of unique DW's, I'm posting a few pics from the auction.

I see the disclaimer on the auction regarding safety glasses. I was thinking having your forearm/hand out in front of the cylinder would need some type of additional protection from powder gases and residue.
I like the concept but would be leery about shooting it.

Coop- This is actually not our first discussion on this gun, previous one was over a year ago, and those same points came up then. I agree that putting your arm alongside a B/C gap is a little scary. My feeling on this gun is that it's unique, interesting, but at the end of the day it's a "solution looking for a problem".
I admire the creativity, but the rationale for this gun escapes me

I realize these DW rifles are rare, but $1300 for what was a $200 rifle? Come on.
Someone enlighten me on the Coyote.

Seems pretty silly to spend that money on a .22 lr bolt action rifle. There has been one that floated around the auction sites that had been reportedly a special one made for Bob Serva, who owned DW at the time.
I have many better places to spend that kind of money before I ever consider that one.
In fact, I don't have that kind of $$$ to spend on ANY gun.

Nice rifle but way out of line on the price, I picked one up a year or so ago with the box for a lot less than half of what this guy is asking.
These have sold on Gunbroker in the 450-600.00 range when they have come up which isn't very often.
I think I may have seen 4 or 5 in the last 6 years.
