*EDIT by CF* This gun has been traded by the owner. I moved this thread here, for easy future reference...

I just picked this model 15-2 vh6 today. Seems to be some special Shriners serial number. It has a couple of slight handling marks and a light dragline but seems to be unfired. I’m kind of having second thoughts about shooting it. I’m not really a collector but I figure someone else would keep this unfired. I was thinking maybe I would trade it for a shooter but I haven’t decided yet. Anyway, here is some pics. Sorry about the quality, I’m not to good with a camera.

I’m not sure what they mean. I’m not familiar with the Shriner’s organization. There is a letter in the box dated April 1st 1981

I did a little research and all i could find was that C.S.S.A. stands for central states shriners association and they have a annual gathering. I’m wondering if these were some kind of recognition gifts or something.

Thanks for the cool-pics and especially for the great closeup of the logo on the side plate. I don't think I could shoot it either if I owned it, but that's just me.laugh

If you do decide to swap it for a shooter, I'm sure you'll have no problem completing the deal here on thedwf-sign

There is a very similiar model available here locally. Light drag lines, otherwise appears to have had very minimal use. The owner is asking a fortune for it (12-1500.xx off the top of my head.)

My Dad was a Shriner in Lincoln in the 70s.  I'll try to send him a few pics and ask him if he ever heard of a special order.
