I am looking to place a value on a Norwich First Issue Pistol Pack II. I have heard that very few of these packs were ever produced. The rumor I heard was around 27 total first-issue packs were ever produced. Looking if anyone can shed light on the value and any other information they may have on these packs. I will attach a few pictures of the First Issue Pack I have.

It's very difficult to place a value on something like this because of its rareness, so few have been sold in the open market and it has been years since one has shown up for sale or at auction. Any numbers anyone attempts to place as a value is basically a personal opinion. The value of it is what the market will bear, and the only way you're going to get that is to put it up for auction. With that, my opinion is somewhere around $4k. I've got 2 of them (one new/unfired) and I wouldn't sell either one for $5k. But that's just me.....someone else may sell one for $2k.
I don't know where you heard the rumor of 27 units were produced, but it sounds like something someone pulled out of their ***. The reason I say this is because I have it documented....."In the pistol pack config, there were only about 20 made".
If you sell it please keep us posted how you move it and what $$ it brings.....we'll all be curious to know.

Thanks much for the information and possible guidelines. With only twenty that exist I do not think I would sell for less than 5K either. I knew of one other until today and he told me he would not let his go for less than 9K which seemed high to me. The one I have has not been shot either other than the factory test firing that I know of. It appears not to have been fired and has the yellow ring on the cylinder too. I am trying to find out all I can about them and what value those who know think they would be worth. Thanks Much, anyone else feel free to supply any information, please.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures. I am hoping to get more input on the First Issue Pistol Pack II.
Not really much more to say about them - do you have any specific questions? Do you have the paperwork, cleaning kit, sticker and patch that were included with them? Some also came with a USGI surplus M-1 Garand Grease Pot. When I have some time I'll try to get a photo of everything.

I only have the Blue Decal the Norwich Instruction Manual was not present. There were no cleaning rods in this Pack and if you look at the pictures there was not a cut out for them either. The usual spot was next to the lock just to the right. I do not think all packs had the same things in them. The other pack I saw had the cutout and cleaning rods that you mentioned. Like you said not many of these packs were made and the value is who knows as not many have ever come up for auction. I have never fired my pack and am pretty sure it was only factory test fired. I sure wish I had the instruction manual, I tried to see if someone on the Forum had one but it never got answered. I guess no one has a spare and I have checked eBay for years and never have seen one. I will never shoot this and am getting up in years with no one to leave it to so I'm thinking about selling it just not sure what to ask for it. I could always put it on GB for sale but not thrilled with that idea with all the taxes they add on. I appreciate your information and suggestions. I did sell my First Issue 7445 to a member of the Forum. The Pistol Pack II is the rarest Dan that I own. I do have a real nice Model 40 complete like new, also a 744 with 6,8,10" barrels with an unfluted cylinder.

You mentioned that you have documentation regarding how many units were produced? Are you willing to share it? Also, I am still looking for the decal instruction manual, patch, and cleaning rods for the Norwich PP II, do you have any suggestions? I have been watching eBay for years I will attach pictures.
