As far as -N assuming its for Nickle? Not sure, I will have to check my model 15 factory nickle. I believe it does and It's located on the crane as yours. Honestly it's been so long since I've had mine out of the safe, I'll have to check on that however I'm sure someone will beat me to it that would know off hand.

We are planning an intervention for Stinger. He is in denial. We have to get him into large frames, 22's and 32 mags. Oh, he has no stainless yet.
No stainless? The Surgeon General has identified that as a serious public health issue. I prescribe a massive injection of 7xx and possibly 7xxx.

if you find one...what's your plan?

I'm afraid Old Dog has misled you somewhat and I feel compelled to clarify the issue ... I have no stainless Dan's. I've got plenty of stainless other-brands, but I'm enjoying the Monson & Palmer finishes, especially the "Barney" examples.

A little back story. Several years ago I bought a fairly rough 15-2 at a great price, and took it to my LGS to get it refinished in bright nickel, and ended up with
I was cautioned at the time, and have since seen on several shooting sites to NEVER use a copper cleaning/removing type cleaner on a nickel gun. The prep for traditional bright nickel is a base coat of copper, then the nickel. If you use a copper removing cleaner, and it gets under the nickel (one nick, scratch, etc.) you can start to lose the nickel. The copper base coat erodes and the nickel can peel right off.
The good news on a DW is that the only time you might use a copper cleaner is on the barrel, and you can remove your barrel to clean any copper build up in the bore.
Just be real careful, you have an original factory nickel finish that looks really nice.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
