Does anyone have or ever seen the elusive Dan Wesson PinGun?
I've seen old print articles from, I believe the Palmer years, that mention the Pin Gun, used in the sport of bowling pin shooting.
I'm looking for particulars, what caliber were these, what did they look like? Also, anybody got one? If so post some pics.
These seem to be more rare than the PPC slabsides, of which I've only seen pics.
Out of over 11 thousand members, a few of these have to exist in members hands.

Not much out there....
Dan wesson Model 45 Pin Gun for sale - Price and Used Value
DAN WESSON MODEL 745 PIN GUN for sale - Price and Used Value
I'm not certain Blue Book has it completely right except probably a Palmer era development.

Ok so it was a 45 acp, probably a 45 colt machined for moon clips.
I wonder what was roll marked on the shroud as far as caliber? I couldn't read it on my phone.

I haven't seen one in the wild- I'm guessing .45 ACP or .45 Auto

I can't believe nobody on this forum has one. They must have been produced in very low numbers.
One guy had some, although I believe he sold them shortly before you joined. Yes, very low numbers! All the main photos in this thread are dead, but his sig pic remains...
Some of his pics made the calendar the next year, IIRC. I should see if I can find that one.
