I have a stainless 38 VH 3 inch bbl rear adjustible sight with the serial number 38 S 00XXXX Monson.. Inside cylinder area is stamped with an S.. no other markings.. Any one run across this model ?Thanks BW

Possibly:
738P (38Sp +P) – also referred to as the Lil’ Dan.

If it's a 5 shot cylinder it's a 738. If it's a 6 shot, Fixed Rear notch sight, it's a Model 708. If it a rear adjustable sight, it's a Model 709(?)

Good to know, I just updated my notes I am building on all of the various DW models. I’m building my own database about all of the models. I started with the info available here on DWF, but have been adding information like this to mine to flesh it out. Thanks for sharing!
