Anyone out there reload 10MM auto? I just started and I'm having some binding in the magazine. They are 1.25" COAL but it seems that the bullet end is binding in the front of the mag. after I put in 4 rounds. #5 through 8 don't want to go in very well and they hang up when I try to eject them. I crimped some pretty hard tonight and that seems to have improved the situation but I don't know if I am crimping too hard. I am using a LEE factory taper crimp die for that. Over crimping can create a pressure problem, right?

Are you sure it is the rounds and not the mag? First thing I do with any new mag is pullit apart and make sure there are no burrs on the inside of the mag, or the follower. Just like everything else, amazing what a little polishing and lube will do.

I once made a bunch of 9mm too long. The reloading info I had at the time had a min/max COL and my reloads were too long for the magazine. Ran them through the press again and shortened them a little and all is fine.
