So I wanted to pull some 14-2 front sights so I could refinish a few shrouds. Some of my shrouds have pins that go completely through--no problem 🙂
I have two 4" shrouds that only have the pin visible on one side. I figured a few good whacks with the drift punch and it would pop through the other side...wrong !
after about the 3rd whack, my drift had a nice bend in it -- subsequent attempt to straighten drift resulted in broken drift....
So do I need to drill the pin from the blind side?
