I need some help with finding parts for my first DW that I'm going to restore.
I've got the extractor but need the ejector rod, bushing, and spring for my 15-2. I have searched high and low and lost my bid on a complete cylinder group on ebay yesterday at the last second.
Any leads on these parts?
Thanks.

I should have read this post before my last response.  You can probably obtain these from Dan Wesson parts directly 607-336-1174.

Thank you very much.

I have also contacted the poster of the NOS parts posting on the for sale thread.

I believe 'snake-eye' (the guy selling NOS parts here) has all those components and will give you a better price than Norwich .. and FREE shipping !!!

Just sayin' wink

That's interesting.  I talked to Shawn an hour ago and he said he had them in stock.

You are doing the Lord's work with that info. I left a message at that number right before you posted. Said no one was available.

It just so happens that I am working on a Cylinder Assembly project right now myself and already did the legwork, so you benefit too.

Shawn is usually extremely busy in the afternoons .. best time to get him is in the morning. But, if you left a message, he will call you back when he can - he's a good guy.

Ron-sounds like you are getting the help you need, pretty much what DWF is all about.

Update: Parts ordered for $32 shipped. Thanks much for the info.

I need to find a 6"VH shroud now. I may have Ford's master blue it when I get the VH. Match the 1969 Python in the safe.

Nicely done!

(and for what it's worth I really like the heft, and response, of the 4 and 6 inch very extra heavy shrouds from EWK!)

Have you ever noticed that 3+5+7 is GREATER than 9+1+1 ?                 .

I couldn't find shrouds listed on the EWK website.

That is because he is sold out.  Eric said recently on another thread here on DWF, that he was getting ready to produce some more soon. I suggest you contact him at ewktech@gmail.com to discuss your needs.

This is not meant to censure or chastise anyone that wants EWK products.

Eric owns and manages a "not big" tool and die business, and does his shooting sports accessories as a sideline. He was a DWF Member long before he started making DW stuff, since he knows and shoots Dan Wesson's he is connected to what we need/want.

When EWK items are available, we usually know first, and many of his products that you see on eBay are being sold by second and third generation buyers who know all about "buy low/sell high" with products in demand.

I can also tell you that he has been known to do some pretty nice specialty stuff for people he knows on DWF.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Ok, ejector rod came in today. I can not in any way get it to screw into the extractor when in the cylinder.

Edit. I will probably have to order an extractor as well. Turns out I can push the rod completely through the female extractor threading when out of the cylinder.
