I sent an email to Jamison International regarding 360 brass. Mr. Jamison called yesterday to inquire about how many I was interested in. I said 150 or so. I also mentioned the DW Forum and that perhaps other members would be interested in some as he said he would cut down some 357 Max brass to make the 360 brass.
Question: I know that works but is it safe?
If so is there anyone else interested? I believe he'd do it if we could get at least 800 pieces ordered, but he did not commit on a price at this time.
PM me if you are interested.

Jaggman -
It's ok cut down the .357 maxi. as long as it's done correctly and the wall thickness tapered in the process. The guys at Starline confirmed this today. I also spoke to them regarding running .360DW brass and here's the scoop - they were stuck with inventory for several years when they ran it last time based on the belief that this caliber was going to be marketed and sold. It never really went anywhere, a few guns went out the door and that was the end of it. Despite my pleading with them, they will only do a run if they can hit 50k pcs. (which is down from the previous requirement of 100k pcs). He did go on to state that a good portion of the previous run went to people that were making wildcat cartridges out of them. So, basically what we would really need to do is round up as many people as we can that are holding the DW guns in .360 along with those that may use the case for a wildcat and get a buy-in from as many people as possible to hit the 50k requirement. Otherwise, they'll never get run. They told me straight out - they're not going to do any limited runs under 50k pcs.
So, if anywone wants to spearhead a project, that is the only option to get original .360DW brass. I'd go in for 1k pcs.

Once again, Harly gets the straight scoop!
I'll pose the question over at the SP forum & see if there's any interest. If we can get enough interest to convince Starline to do a run, I'd be in for 500 pieces. Hopefully buying the brass first, will bring the gun later...that plan has worked once already.

One of the guys over at SP asked about price. That's a valid question I guess, do they usually charge a lot more for special runs like this?
Here is THE THREAD over there. There doesn't seem to be much interest so far at SP.

I'm quite sure the price would be their catalog price on their website. This wouldn't really be a special run at 50k pcs. I put a post over on GBO and will do the same over on some of the other forums this weekend.
