What you do for brass for the 375 Supermag.  I was snooping around and couldn't find a reliable source of 375 Supermag brass.

You can also trim/resize 30-30 Win brass to work. I received a couple hundred ready to go 30-30's with my SuperMag...just haven't gotten dies yet.

The 375 Winchester cases are recommended over the 30-30 cases as they are stronger.  If you are lucky enough to find them Winchester did make a run of IHMSA 375SM brass.  There is a company called Quality cartridge in MD that was mking correct 375 SM cases as loaded cartridges or brass only.  http://www.qual-cart.com/exotic.htm  I have some of their brass and have reloaded it and it has functioned fine.

Mox,

I bought my Qual Cart loaded.  I would not pay that either.  Cut the 375 Win down by all means.

CF,

I have loaded some of the 30-30 cases also, I obtained some already cut with a 375 gun.  They have worked, but since the cases are thinner, they do stick sometimes...

Ok, that's something I'll watch out for. My new plan is to load these light, and depending on how they act, may only use 'em a couple times before I discard them & go looking for some more stout cases. I've got 50 IHMSA cases, but am still undecided on whether I will load them. Merely because they're cool.Laugh Is that as bad as not firing a gun??Embarassed

Do not lead this guy in the wong direction. It's OK to have a gun that has not been fired yet ESPECIALLY a 375 Super Mag!!!

I had a feeling that's what IHMSA's response would be.lol2 I still have three guns that are unfired...all Porkchops. Maybe one of these days I'll awaken them from their slumber.Range Time
