Today I finally got around to preparing some 375 Win brass for conversion to 375 Supermag. I've had this brass for a few years and couldn't decide how best to cut it accurately and efficiently. Then I got an email sale ad from Harbor Freight and in it I saw a 2" circular chop saw. I picked one up today and set to work.
I found that a 41 magnum case gage was the perfect trim die to hold the brass as it is 1.610 overall length. All I had to do was grind some flats on the sides so it would fit in the tiny jaws of the chop saw. Once fitted, I could then just insert a piece of 375 Win brass and lop it off to exact length. I ran 500 rounds in about an hour. There was very little variation in length of finished cases, well within trim limits for 375SM. I proceeded to chamfer and deburr them and in only a couple of hours, I have 500+ 375 SM case ready to load this weekend.
Maybe this is an obvious method but it was so simple and inexpensive, I thought I'd share it with the group.
The saw is a Drillmaster 2", cost was $39.00. Comes with one blade and I grabbed a second just in case. But the steel blade that was on it was more than able to handle 500 brass cases with ease. This will be my preferred method to modify 375 Win brass from now on.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

If a man designed it, and a man built it, then a man can fix it.
