Gotcha, Scorpio.
Picked up some Lube at Eastern Outfitter's last week. I have loaded rifle ca'tridges in the past but it will take a paradigm shift to make sure I lube the cases.
Also I think it'll be important to completely remove the lube before firing them. With that tapered case I want to avoid any chance of the cases being setback against the recoil shield and locking up the gun or causing sticky ejection.
Watcha think, y'all?

(I have experience loading and shooting a S&W Mdl. 53 .22 Jet and those are the kind of issues you can have with that too.)

It's definitely a good idea to wipe the lube off once they are loaded. I've found that once the bullet has been fired, any lube that was left on the case makes a gooey mess in the hot cylinder. Sticky ejection will happen for sure, in that case.
Congrats on landing those dies, they aren't easy to find!

argggggh i told ya to wait... man... starline has cheap brass now... dude, just call me and ask me to go on a search for ya, I don't have a job, and love to do this sheeet , because in the long run, it benefits me also..
semper Fi,
or semper pie.. mmm pie...
lemme know in a p/m whats going on.
I told ya I'd load some s/m stuff fer ya, I got bullets, and will give them at cost.. no big deal, but you gotta pay for powder and primers... it can get a bit expensive stuffing .445 cases with powder.....I'll find a good deal tho. and maybe sit and watch me load the stuff, so you get edgemacated on the process.. maybe...
hey, worse comes to worse, and you wanna feel the full force of the .445, i'll run down on a sunny day on my bike, with 50 rds Of IHMSA brass ammo I have, and let you fire it all.. but you have to guess how much that ammo is worth... it aint $xx.oo amount heheheheheh
just kidding, I want you to be able to shoot the monster, so maybe get some starline brass, don't go crazy, just buy a hundred, and w'll go from there, I'll tell ya I will have to load some of my loads (reduced)in that brass, and test its integrity, before I Do a major batch for you, or anyone else.. if we see some weird stuff, we can back off.. just conveying my experience on the crap IHMSA brass, when I was developing this cartridge, and sharing info on Krag brass with Elgin..
sorry, Krag brass ain't an option on Palmer pistols..
I'm gonna do a search; and a poll, to find out who has actually used this fireformed ammo, and which guns it worked in.. check the "large frame" postings to find it..
