I haven't had the chance to try any of the Sierra's in mine yet, but I've heard from others that the Hornday 220 works much better in the Dan Wesson. I still plan on using the Sierra's, as they shoot very well in my .375 Winchester Contender.

Proud To Be An AmericanI did some checking around an did find I load for the 200gr sierra with h4227 at 24gr so will use that to work around as soon as I find some sierra bullets. will probably start with ww brass 1.60", cci primers  200 lr, 21.5gr of imr4227 powder,  and work up by .02" till I see signs of pressure or get one hole groups. Also hope to try H110 powder when I find info. Keep your eyes open and thanks.WOW

I have tried the published loads of H-110 and got great results, the only problem was extracting the cases.  They grouped great but were obvioulsy too high pressure for the cases at the published load.  I have not had a chance to try another recipe yet.

I might add that the above experience was out of the 9-1/2" barreled 375 which has a different twist rate than the standard 8" barrel.  The 9-1/2" barrel was a GB find and the shroud was custom from CZ.  I just have to find a 200 grain load that has a little less pressure with equal results.
