Everything I read says its ok to use 44 mag dies of the 445. Is this true?

For my new 445 AGS, do I want to load cast or jacketed bullets for it?

I have yet to load cast bullets in any caliber.

Absolutely you can use .44 mag dies to load .445, although depending on your press you may run into problems with .44 special dies, but probably not

As for Cast or Jacketed that would be completely up to you, when using cast try to use something that has a good lube groove, try to stay away from the hornady and speer cast bullets they are not built to be pushed to the velocity that the .445 normally runs at. Pick a decent quality bullet maker like Laser Cast(Oregon trail) bullet meiser etc. I run home cast bullets in all my Dan's and they do just fine. My Dad has a .445 and he uses the RCBS 240 gr. SWCGC with hot lube and it leads very little at normal .445 velocities.

Congrats on the acquisition, I'm still looking for a .445

Called Lee, Lyman and Foster and they said their 44 mag dies work with 445. I could order custom dies (in stock) from Foster $179 steel and $209 for carbide. RCBS has 445 dies for $161. I like Hornady and Lee dies. Just need to decide which to order?

Have you ever checked out Redding dies?  You might do a bit better on price and I have found their dies very durable.
