I just received my 740 back from DW, sent it Christmas week. I had a problem with the cylinder dragging and since I was going to send it in could they please do an Ihmsa legal trigger job. So I got back:
Corrections made: Replaced 2 headspace shims, replaced hand, faced cylinder, crowned & throated barrel, light mainspring, and test fired.
Total was $300 including shipping. This is the best single action trigger I've ever felt. Better than any that I had done on several S&W's, just a fantastic feel! Superb work done with quick turnaround.
Thanks DW for the great effort.
(and no I don't work for or represent DW)

That's good to hear. I keep expecting them to announce one day that they will no longer work on revolvers, so each positive update like this, is definitely welcome news.
BTW, I & know you've been a member for a while & have seen you posting in the firing range a few times, so here's your official 1st post to the forum.
Got any of that finely tuned SuperMag?

I like the fact that they faced the cylinder. Now the headspace to the barrel should be the same for all positions. Did you specifically request this?
Also, did you request throating and crowning? Did you send all of your barrels for this gun in for the T & C, or do you have only one.
What style of crowning did they do, step or angle? If angle, what was the angle?
