Hi all again ...I have a bunch of 158 gr JHP bullets and just located a half a pound of Winchester 296 in my powder stock and was looking for a good load for my Dan ( no problem with my 1911 just kind of new with the Dan )

Well how about some load info for 2400 ...I think my reloading buddy has a small supply of it and I might be able to him out of a pound ...I will be using plated 158 gr X TREME bullets

My load for 357 mag started with an 8" bull berry made barrel for the T/C contender.  I tried a few charges and 12.3 grains grouped the best for me.  The same load does well out of the revolver.

12.3 grains of 2400

nosler 158 grain HP

CCI 550 primers

Winchester cases

The Lyman book has max charge about 2.5 grains above my load.

As a disclaimer:  all loads need to be carefully worked up.
