I used it, I think several years ago, funny how the memory fades, doing some touch ups. Any body here ever tried it? Brownells was out of Oxpho today so I ordered a kit of Blue Wonder. I got and old Marlin M25 bolt .22LR in today for a clean up. Stock looks pretty good but the barrel and receiver is covered in surface rust.. Don't see any pitted areas yet But I haven't taken it down yet. Guy says he blued it couple years ago with B.C. Don't really wanna spend much money on it he says... I'm gonna give this stuff a ride and see how it turns out and if I ain't happy with it, well hopefully the Oxpho will be in by then. Seen a couple vids on the blue. I ordered a blue kit and a black kit. I'll let ya'll know how it turns out... If anybody has tried it, tell me what you think..

I used it on my FIL's Remington 521-T he left to my wife. I used a few coats with 000 steel wool between coats. Turned out OK- not a bright blue finish, more satin, but no issues with it and it was easy to work with.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Thanks Ron. Once I get started taking this thing down I'll put up a couple pics for a before and after. One these days I might have to go to the scrap yard and see if I can find a couple old water heaters and make me some hot tanks.

Finally got that little Marlin on my tear down table yesterday. Worse than what I thought. Friend of mines son, ex-SEAL, owns Kodiak Coatings. He does cerakote for different folks but main business is the coating on Glocks. He gets like a 1000 at a time, they have to be taken down, get there treatment then put back together. Ya. I've helped him a time or two. Gonna get him to strip the barrel for me. Receiver is in good shape but rusty on top strap and a little around the mag well. That barrel is funky. Looks good under stocks. Not gonna separate it from the receiver though. Trigger, I'm not sure whats gonna happen with that yet. See how it looks after a sonic bath. surprisingly the bore is just a little lead fouling but the rifling still looks pretty good. Stocks are fairly nice, all smooth with no nicks, dings or gouges, just some scuffs and minor scratches. Think I'll strip them down to bare, sand lightly and rub it with oil and steel wool it between the oiling. I'll show ya more when the Blue Wonder starts to go on.

Said it was in a plastic foam lined case for a while. I thought, man, how long is a while? after I got ny hands on it. It doesn't appear to be pitted yet, at least not majorly. Once I get it stripped down, I'll know more what I'm dealing with, but,
me tinks, me can get her back to something,,,,unoffensive... to the eye.
