Well, it is about as finished as it is going to get... Set off all rounds in my test gun just fine. I gave it a quick polish and blue (hammer is hard--doesn't like reblue), and put the hammer and matching trigger into my CCW DW. For some more testing, I have left the factory springs in place. I think it looks pretty good....

If you are not going to use the single action mode you can strengthen the mainspring.
I dropped a wood ball slightly smaller than the main spring hole in the hole. The hammer will not cock in SA mode but will fire in DA. I installed a Wolf 7.5# mainspring and had inconsistent ignition. The ball cured it. I ordered the 8# spring.

Looking at this picture I have a question or two. 1. What model is this
the 14-2? 2. Did you have to modify the pistol grip and grip frame
any? 3. The cylinder looks different. Is it just un-blued? The pistol
really looks great.

Wow--Sorry I never saw this post until now... This is/was a stock 14-2. The grip frame is stock, but the gun now wears a set of LB SHOOTIST grips. I installed the Stainless cylinder to give it a little sexier look.
It runs just fine with the bobbed hammer, but I also went over every inch of the gun when I had it apart--tuned and lubed.
