Okay, a clarification. I have an '06 model that has an non-ramped barrel and I have an '09 model with a Para/Clark ramped. I can only assume in 2006 they might have been using up frames/barrels left over from the Serva era so the change came somewhere in between these dates. My 2017 10mm Valor is ramped.

That's good information to know.
Here is my plan: I'll buy a V-Bob or C-Bob, hopefully 2010-2020, or new*, then I will have a 40S&W barrel fitted.
CZ-USA sells a Dan Wesson 40S&W barrel (only $59!) and the picture appears ramped, but there are no notes and I can't tell from the low res pic if it is Clark/Para or Wilson/Nowlin. I already bought the barrel and bushing from CZ-USA. I found a good deal on a 357 Sig barrel, but I wanted to ensure I had the correct ramp.
Of course, all are gunsmith fit, with gunsmith fit bushings,
In the end, I'll end up with a V-Bob or C-Bob which will be able to run 10mm, 40S&W, or 357 Sig.
* on another forum, a VP from Dan Wesson mentioned I could order a 10mm C-Bob new. I don't see it on the website, but I'm sure he knows what he's talking about, so I am trying to decide between a C-Bob (new or used) and a used V-Bob (I don't know if they can make a 10mm V-Bob new). I figure I need to make my mind up before I place an order.

If the 40SW is from DW it will have the correct ramp and the barrel and bushing will fit most likely without much fitting, i.e. you can do it yourself.

Wow, that's awesome. He told me the MSRP was $1899, but that was for a commander size. That one is 2023 production and is 5" full size. It must not have been fired much to be used and made this year. Oddly, the design cues (cocking serrations, solid trigger) are from the 2018 and earlier Valor series. This actually has the serrations I prefer, and I don't care much about the trigger.
As for fitting the barrel, I actually have several projects were I will be learning to fit a barrel. I might have this done by somebody with experience though. I don't mind messing up range guns or DIY 80% projects. I guess the work is really on the barrel, so it won't affect the frame or slide. The barrel (4.25") and bushing I bought are both Dan Wesson.
Thanks much.

I think you're right. The pics are definitely commander sized, but the listing has the barrel listed as 5". I have to call anyway, so I can verify.
Looks like Cabela's has ~10 of these scattered at stores across the US, all 2023 or late 2022 production. I found at least one at BassPro too. Several list them as new, which makes more sense. No other vendors seem to have them.
Anyway, thanks much. Cheers
