The past few days have brought up some topics on end play, head spacing, trigger issues and and binding cylinders. In today's mail I received my Jan. 15 issue of American Gunsmith and found this short revolver check out article. Since it also, show the lock works of a 14-2, during it's course I felt obliged to post it for some folks to read. It may help shed some light for those of us a little less in the know..

Excellant, that is very timely with the recent posts.  I know I've been swinging in the dark a bit.  Thanks.

That is good info. I saw this article only 'after' I bought my older DW pistol. I was unaware of several of these things to check out, will be great reference for next timewinkwhen I add another DW to my collection!

Thanks for this PDF file

I Hello, I am also member of the American gunsmith association. There was an article in 1993 on smoothing the action of a Dan Wesson. I keep all of my old ones but cant find it lately. I was going to try and post it. Do you have your copy ?

I have most issues I think HUGELK, that has been a while ago. Have to take some time and look thru binders. Seems I remember that slightly, are you sure it was that far back?   I'll do some digging..
