I bought a chronograph and hit the range to compare some factory & handloads. I just started loading about a year ago. I'll probably never recoup the cost of loader and dies, etc., but it is fun to do and to experiment with loads. Strictly handguns for now. No plans to do rifle loads. I like Trail Boss for .38 & above cases. It's hard to over fill the powder and gives good accuracy for target and plinking. Have to use Bullseye for 9mm cause the case is too small to get much Trail Boss in it. I'm not planning to load for the 32 auto, but wanted to compare the factory rounds. Interesting results.

Nice numbers snake-eye.
Gotta love loading with IMR Trail Boss, it's like you're filling up your brass with a bunch of mini doughnuts or tiny little Cheerio's. You can't possibly double charge a case using the stuff with out it overflowing.
Trail Boss makes for some great low recoil impulse, or cowboy level loads.
I'm a big fan of using Bullseye too, and carefully double checking my charges. Bullseye powder will go a long ways IF you are lucky enough to find it on the shelf. (or happen to have some squirreled away)
Keep em coming!

Thanks for that. I have some Bullseye squirreled away, too. The *only* powder I've been able to find in Indiana lately is Herco. Pretty good, reminds me of Unique, and makes a good .357 magnum load.
I need a chrono... yesterday when I was picking spent boolits out of my crumb bucket I found 12 Berrys that had the plating stripped. Those loads must have been too hot for Berrys.. the data said 1200, but they must have been above that.
