So, here I sit thinking some more. I have a few FO sites coming in from eric and want to put one on the AGS. I'm not close to the gun to discover for myself so can someone tell me if that's two roll pins holding it in? (pic in signature block) I have a rooger ghost ring rear that I plan to put on too, in order to complete the hunting package...

I went back and checked some comp. shrouds, and they're all different. Some used 2 solid pins, some used a roll pin and a solid pin, and some used 2 roll pins. All are mounted with one pin at the rear notch of the sight and one pin straight through the lower tang of the sight. I changed out a sight on one of my comp shrouds because it wasn't installed correctly at the factory. Drift out the front pin and remove the sight. Put your front sight on and hold it down tight on the shroud. Mark the hole position on the sight tang through the hole in the shroud with a prick punch. Pull your sight out and drill the hole through the sight tang ( I believe it is 1/16" but not sure). Put your sight on and pin it. You'll need a drill press and clamp the sight flat on the table or you'll never get the hole straight. Whatever yo do don't try to drill the hole in the sight tang while it is on the shroud - you'll never get it straight and you'll open up the pin hole in the shroud.

That's sounds like something I would say right after: " hey, give me a hand, hold my beer"
Thanks for the info. Looking forward to putting on Eric's FO sight and an aperature rear sight for a woods pistol...
