While cataloging the guns, I noticed a bit more rotational play in full lockup on the 741 than the other DWs in the stable. Do you suppose it's just a matter of putting in/ fitting a new bolt? If so- will DW sell those or is it a Keith-only installed part?
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Spoke with Priscilla today. Ordered a new 41 mag 10" barrel and bolt. Seems as though my C&R license qualifies for dealer pricing and dealer parts- otherwise I would have had to settle on the barrel only as the bolt is a gunsmith installed part only.
Another benefit to the C&R!
I doubt the parts will be in before I have to leave again, though. Oh well, something to look forward to.

Seems to be 9-10%. I didn't ask, but the $118 barrel became $108. The bonus was getting the bolt w/o having to have a gunsmith order it for me. Graf and Sons is 10%, Midway, I think, was 10% and there are a few others.
For the small investment every three years, it's been worth it.
