I am sending my 15-2 back to dw for repairs. She has much to much endshake, and she also has misfired 2ndary to a botched trigger job done by the previous owner. i was wondering how long repairs typically take? Also the revolver has some side to side cylinder play. Is this normal? I have not got out any calipers and measured it but... Anyway thanks in advance I have a hunting trip in mid october just wanted to be sure the gun would be back in time.

P.S. the classified section will not retain any of my posts. i have a 2 1/2 inch barrel and shroud (357) and a Like new (barely worn) simply rugged holser w/ iwb straps for the short barreled DW 15. I have to sell to afford repairs. So pm me if interested :).

I haven't sent any guns home to DW myself, so I can't post any of my own experience with them. However, some of our other members have said that they have gotten pretty decent turnaround time, like 2-3 weeks if I remember correctly.
Regarding the side cylinder play (rotational play), that can be fixed too, from what others have said. Guns that have been shot a lot, or maybe merely mistreated can develop that problem. I've got a 15-2 with some excessive cylinder play, that will eventually get a trip back home to DW for "the treatment". In the meantime, I'm still shooting it.
