The firing pin in one of my DWs needs to be replaced. Are there any photos and/or info available to assist in this? Both of my 44s are the older production in which a 1/16" pin holds the bushing in place. I think the bushing comes out the front of the frame. Does anyone have any experience in this r&r? Are there any things to look for such as a possibly very tight bushing? Thanks for your assistance.

Although I have never removed my firing pins, the exploded drawing for the 44 shows the roll pin as the only thing keeping it in there:

If its a problem with the firing pin hole (too small diameter) and not the actual firing pin, just run the correct size drill bit into the bushing hole and ream a bit of the built up metal away.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
