I was thinking about getting an electronic reloading scale. I don't want to spend that much money on one, say less than 100.00. I have a couple of the beam type scales that work fine, but there is nothing like a digital read out. Do any you guys have some suggestions on what I should get? I have also read that electronic scales can be off. That they need protracted warmup periods before accuracy and repeatability can be expected. After a half-hour of warmup, it will settled down and give the correct reading. Also to keep your mechanical scales around to double check the electronic ones, or buy a set of check weights. And one should buy the 110 volt type and not the battery operated ones. I don't mind the hands on, "Nothing is to good for our friends," as Charles Bronson would say. What would you guys recommend on getting an electronic scale? Thanks, Gary.

I've used the RCBS Rangemaster 750 for years w/ no issues. Comes w/ checkweights and can be found new for right at $100.
I've owned the RCBS Chargemaster for a few years and love it as well. It was a gift, otherwise I think I would have tried this, for the money:

Smartreloader is the brand of electronic scale I ended up with ( the cheap battery one). But I mostly use the balance scale. Actually when calibrating I use both. What I hate is most electronic are only good to .1gr ... I really want one that is good to .01gr, but those get real expensive real fast. Let us know what you end up with!
