So I was able to sneak in and snag an original EWK small frame scope mount. Tonight I went by the local Academy Sports and picked up this Red Dot. I haven''t sighted them in yet, but look forward to trying this out.

I will say, as I told Eric, the scope looks to be very high quality and should last for the life the of gun. You can''t say that about many scopes or mounts these days… even on something as tame as a .357.

Ye old DW 15-2 ( my main shooter) with 8" Vented ( from the original pack),  the EWK scope mount, and Millett Red Dot. I got the Red dot for $39.99 plus tax. ( also sporting the LB grips)

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.

Exactly what I want to do on my 722. I'm keeping the FastFire on my Buckmark, and I think something like this for the 722:

https://www.primaryarms.com/Primary_Arms_Micro_Dot_With_Removable_Base_p/md-06.htm

I have a couple of other Primary Arms items, pretty good stuff. They have their own version of the FastFire (but with a green dot) for $75.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yesterday I put a Red Dot on a Model 15 and took it to the range.  Kind of big but fun to shoot.

That really looks good. I'm looking for a scope mount that clamps on.

I  have a red dot like those on my Mini-14. How accurate are they on on a pistol?  Don't they kind of obscure the bulls eye somewhat?
