Great job. Try a set of Wolff reduced power springs for a super trigger. The 8 lb.mainspring is the one too use. Is my opinion that the reduced power trigger return spring makes a huge difference.
They are on order. I just closed up the gun so I do not lose anything.
Once they come in, it will be game on.

David, you absolutely did right by that classic DW revolver.
My first advice is always "take it apart, clean it, lube it, put it back together and shoot it".
If you want to do more after that, well, the inside of a DW Small Frame revolver is pretty much home for you by now.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Alright -- having some issues now.
I ordered springs from Wolff and it just doesn't seem to be working.
This is how the spring lays --

That is not right...correct? It should lay on that lip?
Correct. It should rest on that little ledge or lip on the trigger. That is one of the trickiest parts of replacing the side plate. The other pain is slipping the sideplate on without jostling the hand. Resist the urge to bend the return spring. That could compromise it. Stick with it and you will have great satisfaction when you get it. Wipe any excess lube off the parts and It might help.
