When I saw how accurate the D-11 was I bought a D12 pistol pack so I put the first grip on the 2" D-12 and made this one for the D-11.

Thanks for the "Welcome"!

Nice grips!  What type of wood did you use?

Nice grips! There is nothing as important as a grip that fits YOUR hand for the gun.

Very nice!

I don't see a screw hole in your second grip.  Is there one or did you find an alternative way to mount the grip?

Oh and, Welcome to the DWF Sign

On the subject of grips.  I was smirfing the 'net, looking for Micarta and found some interesting information.  It appears "micarta" is fairly easy to make at home.  Here are a few links on the subject.

Wayne- That is really cool, that denim Micarta is beautiful.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I like the blue denim look too.  My thought was it would make a nice grip for a CC gun, as the grip would blend in with a pair of blue jean pants.

I could see a green material used for tacticool and hunting firearms Cool

The home made micarta is a cool idea! Getting a piece thick enough to work with DW grips may be tricky, unless it's a three piece affair.

Those pieces do end up looking nice in the end.Smile

They both have a screw hole in the bottom.    Denim micarta?  Cool!
