Hey guys I could use a little help w/ my model 15-2. I took out the side plate and cleaned most of the moving parts from this gun. When I reassembled it I tightened down all the screws down the gun would not function properly! Know I took several pictures along the way for reference  in reassembly of the moving parts so I know thats not the issue. What wa happening was that the side plate was screwed in to tight and would cause the hammer to stick. When I loossend the side plate screws the hammer  and trigger would rebound and the gun would dry fire and function normally. I did this serveral times. i am wondering if These screws are meant to have spacers (rubber washers) on them. If so where do I get them? From CZ? I know the grips screw needs a spacer because if I tighten it all the way the DA trigger w/ not travel as far as it should resulting in light strikes.

Thanks guys,

Hi Jake , No, the side plate screws do not have washers or o-rings. If the gun was

functioning properly before you disassembled and cleaned it most likely something

is put back wrong. Here is a post with some photo's that may help.

Sounds like your hand is not in the proper location when you put the sideplate on--it can move a little with the spring pressure.

As far as the grip screw goes, there are two lengths--you just need a shorter one.

Problem solved!!!!!  Blacktop I knew you were right. Finally figured it out though. The arm which rotates the cylinder when the trigger is pulled ( not sure what it's called) has a little tensioner spring which fit's into a thin groove. Rather than place this back into the groove I was placing the spring ontop of the arm. I looked this again after blacktop posted it and whalla! The following pic has been pirated and modified from the above posted thread 🙂 hope you don't mind.

Good to hear it Jake !    SHOOTIST357 posted your answer "hand is not in the proper

location"  that's the part that rotates the cylinder. Also the tutorial I sent you was

written by SHOOT.
