Would you guys know a good gunsmith who works on Dan Wesson revolvers??? I am in New Jersey but that does`ent matter. I`ve got a inoperable stainless .22..... Thank`s for any input. James

Try keith@cz-uca.com. He may be doing the work on these in the interim of finding another revo smith.

Tell us what the symptoms are and we can help. If the hammer won't stay back in single action or you have light strikes in DA the grip screw is in too far. Back it out a turn or two and wollah. 

  If the cylinder won't rotate it is probably the hand spring. If the trigger does not return it is probably the trigger return spring. All easy fixes. Dan Wessons are modular and designed to not need a gunsmith or trip to the factory for most things. Read "Average Joe Tuneup" in Gunsmithing. And let us know more about what is wrong.

Keith says there are not enough revolvers coming in to hire a replacement revolver smith.   He either said: "3 per week" or "3 per month"   Either way I need to get my 445 to him soon.   (I think he does it to get out of his office, and decompress from stress running DW operations)
