I wanted a grip that would allow me to use my Super Mag with ease form my Fuzz Rest.

Saw the Hogue Big Butts and wanted something just a little different.  After a few emails with Lawrence Bruce he consented to make me a grip.....I received it today.....this is what was on a note inside the box...

"I call this a BLODDY ZEBRA SITTING ON A LOG, the center wedge is Bloodwood from Central/South america wrapped in a Zebrawood jacket from Africa, atop a Black Walnut seat from North America.  This grip covers three continents.  This is definitely one of a kind"

I absoultly love this grip.  I left the wood selction up to Lawrence, man am I glad I did.

Mr. Bruce is without a doubt a very talented craftsman.  Here are a few pics I shot tonight.

Plan of getting some better pics in a day or two.

THANK YOU LAWRENCE....YOU ROCK!!

Good to here you like it Doom, It was definitely a interesting project. And of course thanks to all the guys with the generous comments. I guess y'all  have figured out by now that I give my grips silly names, just for kicks and giggles, so if I add this one to my catalog maybe I will call it Doom's Boot, and of course the color pattern is Bloody Zebra on a Log. Whew!  I need coffee.

Anyway Doom, whats a Fuzz rest? and of course, looking forward to hearing how she does on the bench.

Thats fantastic.  I'm still saving up for my next grip ... or two. My daughters gun came in last night, so I am going to give her the option of picking a grip design.

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.

This is getting out of hand! (no pun intended, but it's there now). That Bloody Zebra combo is amazing. We really need some DWF Grip Medallions now.

Stupid question: I assume you are using a longer grip screw?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Back in 2002, I thought about having bronze "coins" made in celebration of the familty reunion. I did not end up doing it, but as I recall, it really would not be that expensive, of course I think it assumes a standard size ( which would be too big).

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.
