I'm with Steve on this one. I'd rather exhaust all possibilities of having some made here in the states, before caving in & going with a Chinese made medallion.
It's the principal of the thing.

My pre-CZ 1911 may possibly have Chinese medallions, if so-that's life. I know my Monson revolvers are all American, I suspect any Palmer will be as well
I repeat, I am not under any circumstances KNOWINGLY putting any foreign (not just Chinese) parts on any of my DW's. I have original DW grips for every revolver I own, and I have no problem using aftermarket grips, and KNOW my aftermarket grips are American.
FYI- I spent a fair amount of time looking into new manufacture medallions, too much money involved in die set-up, minimum manufacturing run, etc.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

If anyone wants small DW medallions as in first picture that I bought from numerick arms let me know they are FREE give me you address.

I don't know, their pretty small. like diameter of pencil eraser size.
