I just made the jump and ordered a Guardian 38 Super - sooo since I reload I was wondering, since this pistol is available in both 9mm and 38 Super it just makes sense that they would have identical bores (probably .355) and only the chambering would differ, means I won't have to stock up on .356 projectiles. I was wondering if there is a sage out there that is really familiar with these 2 barrels. I can't wait for this to arrive as it is supposedly lighter than my EDC S/A RO 9mm Champion you just know I will be weighing both side by side. Anyway Thanx in Advance Mark

For those that are interested I just spoke to a very nice (didn't catch his name - my bad) smith in Norwich and now I can confirm that the Guardian in both 38 Super and 9mm are bored to the 9mm std .355 in. Sooo if you own a 38 Super Guardian and reload both .38 Super and 9mm it is pointless to use order .356 projectiles unless you are trying to make MAJOR pressures for competition. This is a smart smithing decision on DW's part and simplifies the reloaders shelves as well. It also means that the recoil springs and all frame inards are the same and if you want to tame it down from a .38 Sup to 9mm you order a barrel and 9mm mags from Norwich and you are good. I am very glad that I ordered the Guardian and can't wait to see it on Saturday.
