SOooo… I was too curious and since I've started casting, I decided to get a minus plug gauge set ( http://www.grizzly.com/products/Steel-Plug-Gauge-Set-250-pc-Plus/G9793 )and measure the various holes on my wheelguns. I started tonight with the DW41. The cylinder throats measure .408"- each one! I was pretty pleased about that. I haven't slugged the barrel, but I now know the ID of the top of the lands is .399" on both ends. My cast bullets are sized to .410" so I should have a nice fit.
On a side note: my wife came in while I was busy at work, stopped, and looked at me. I must have had my "what dear?" look on because she just shook her head, turned around and walked away… Silence is golden. At least I'm not in a bar, eh?

Yeah, I know that look. That's the look my wife gave me the night I started polishing all my spare DW barrels with my new Flitz gun wax.
